Deleting all media tags and extraneous facts

Note: I am using RM7

I recently got my 91-year old mother to do an Ancestry DNA test. I want to link her results to a public tree on Ancestry by exporting just her ancestors from my RM7 tree but don't want to include any media. Is there a way to remove all media tags using SQL?

There is but is it necessary?

RM has the option for the initial TreeShare upload of excluding the media.
RM's file export has the option to not include Multimedia links.

You will have to do an export anyway to get a subset of your tree so applying #2 at that time seems the easier and lower risk approach.

I hadn't thought about that. I created the "subset" tree a long time ago, so wasn't thinking along those lines, but yes I can re-create it again. I haven't uploaded to Ancestry in awhile and didn't remember that it had also the option to not include media. Thanks for having a better memory than me 🙂
