PlaceID, SiteID in EventTable
Can anyone confirm this?
Looking at a v9.1.3 database, originally from v7 , there seems to be a convention to either use 0 or -1 for a PlaceID and SiteID in the EventTable depending on whether the particular FactType for the event uses the place field.
If the Place field is used but empty, the PlaceID= 0
If the Place field is not used, then the PlaceID = -1
However, this does not seem to be maintained in v9 software. Perhaps it's just carried over from v7
I don't recall ever encountering -1 in either PlaceID or SiteID in any version RM4 to RM9. Are you sure it's not left over from one of your own database manipulations? I cannot see it having any different effect than a 0 or a -214 or even a positive value which has no correspondent in the PlaceTable.
It could be a result of my project being imported from TMG.

The -1's in the PlaceID and SiteID were put there by the Import from TMG software in RM v7.
Confirmed from a backup of my initial import.
